Inorganic/Organic Synthesis and Catalysis

The Odom Group is seeking an independent and creative scientist for an open postdoctoral research associate position to work in the areas of catalysis, inorganic synthesis, and organic synthesis. The candidate will conduct research into the modeling of catalytic reactions within a team of graduate researchers and work independently on projects designed in conjunction with the PI.

Minimum Requirements:

A Ph.D. in chemistry, excellent communication skills, and a strong track record of scientific productivity. Experience working in inorganic, organometallic, or organic synthesis using air-free techniques including Schlenk lines and glove boxes is required. Ideal candidates will be well versed in common analytical techniques such as multinuclear NMR, X-ray diffraction, GC-MS, etc.
