Project SEED, an American Chemical Society (ACS) and MSU sponsored program, allows
economically disadvantaged High School students to be involved in research during
the summer.
ACS-U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad at MSU
The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) program is a chemistry competition for high school students. The purpose of the competition is to stimulate young people to achieve excellence in chemistry. The American Chemical Society has sponsored the program since 1984.

American Chemical Society Women in Chemistry (ACS WiC) is the Women Chemists Committee
of the Michigan State University ACS Local Section. While we celebrate, support, and
empower female chemists, our events and discussions are relevant to chemists regardless
of gender, and all individuals are welcome to join us.
MSU's Chemistry Club is an organization which fosters and promotes an overwhelming
passion for chemistry. We have students who come from a variety of different backgrounds
and majors who wish to expand their knowledge about the world around them.
MSU Grandparents University Chemistry Events
Since 2005, Michigan State University welcomes youth ages 8 to 12 and their grandparents
to campus for a three-day event during the summer. Grandparents University allows for both the adults and the kids to participate in unique university classes
in order to explore what MSU has to offer.
MSU Science Festival Chemistry Events
MSU Science Festival is an annual celebration of Science taking place during the Spring of each year since
2013.
MSU Younger Chemist's Committee
It is our goal to help in the development of young careers by providing leadership opportunities
and showing the value of American Chemical Society membership.
