Safety Goggles

You must wear approved safety goggles at all times in the lab.  From the moment ANYONE in the room is using glassware to the moment you are ready to have your drawer locked, you must have them on.

Most laboratory eye injuries are not the result of something the injured person was doing, but the result of someone else in the room!

Due to the volumes and types of liquids we use in lab, you cannot use Safety Glasses in the lab.

Directly vented goggles are for wood shops not chemistry labs,  these allow for liquids to enter and do not offer proper protection.

Only Indirectly vented safety goggles are allowed in the lab.  These are available at many bookstores.
