Battle of the Chemistry Clubs 2020

MSU wins 2020

The Battle of the Chemistry Clubs competition was held on Saturday February 1, 2020. Ten universities participated and Michigan State University's Chemistry Club won the competition. The morning events consisted of element trivia, obstacle courses, and IUPAC naming, in an attempt to accumulate points. Michigan State University dominated in all categories by taking first place in the rankings after all the morning events were over. MSU's Chemistry Club continued to succeed at the Great Titration Race and timed events which tested their knowledge of density laws and the visible light spectra. They moved on to the Final Jeopardy round and won the whole competition!

Chemistry Club E-board Austin King (President),  Natasha Perry (Vice-President), and members, Michael Schwanitz, and Joseph Hendrian displayed their extensive chemistry knowledge and unrivaled teamwork to bring home the gold for MSU.
