MSU's Chemistry Club wins the Battle of the Chemistry Clubs Competition

Michigan State University’s Chemistry Club won the Battle of the Chemistry Clubs Competition which was held on Saturday February 1, 2020. Clubs from ten universities participated in the day’s events. The morning events consisted of Element Trivia, Obstacle Courses, and IUPAC Naming. MSU dominated in all categories by taking first place in the rankings after the morning events were over. MSU’s club continued to succeed in the afternoon at the Great Titration Race, and in timed events which tested their knowledge of density laws and visible light spectra. They then moved on to the Final Jeopardy round and won First Place in the competition!
