First Research Protein Collected and Solved at the MSU Center for Crystallographic Research

SYNERGY-S Diffractometer

Courtney Bingham, Soham Maity, Rahele Esmatpour Salmani, Prof. James Geiger and Prof. Babak Borhan have successfully collected and solved a ligand-bound protein structure using our NEW SYNERGY-S Diffractometer. Thanks to the MRI program of the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 1919565.

They continue to use LSCAT at ARGONNE for our smaller and more weakly diffracting protein crystals.
