HIGH Pressure X-Ray Crystallography
New Instrument Arrival at the MSU Center for Crystallographic Research
December 1, 2022 The Center has Operational a second Synergy Diffractometer installed for performing High Pressure Crystallography.
This was added to the Center by Professor Weiwei Xie whose research in high pressure crystallography is known worldwide. MSU is proud to be able to have this instrument to form the basis of a home lab High Pressure Crystallographic Center here at MSU, Chemistry. Users from Engineering and Earth Science are already being trained to use the instrument.
