MRI Grant Proposal Success - New Instrument Arrival at the MSU Center for Crystallographic Research

In 2019, Professors Odom, Borhan, LaDuca, Lunt, and Smith submitted an NSF-MRI proposal for the acquisition of a new x-ray diffractometer which was granted to the MSU Center for Crystallographic Research. This center supports more than 20 research groups at MSU, and also researchers from 15 other universities nationwide that will use the Center’s resources. The instrument is scheduled to be installed February 17, 2020.
