Jessica Kline Chosen as ACS Physical Chemistry Division Outstanding Student for 2021

Jessica Kline, a senior chemistry major, has been selected as the MSU recipient of the 2021 American Chemical Society Physical Chemistry Division Outstanding Student in Physical Chemistry.
This award recognizes outstanding achievements by undergraduate students in physical chemistry and to encourage further pursuits in the field.
Jessica has excelled in the BS Chemistry program at MSU, completing it in just three years. Jessica has been working with Marcos Dantus’ group for most of the time that she has been at MSU. She has 6 publications with Marcos; 2 of these are first author papers. She was accepted into graduate school at several top-flight institutions, and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in physical chemistry with a focus on energy and catalysis.
