I worked with Dr. Sing Lee for two years as a Professorial Assistant to synthesize and purify epoxyeicosatrienoic acids for the creation of a receptor probe for biological studies. Over the last year, I have worked with Dr. Jinda Fan to synthesize soluble epoxide hydrolase inhibitors and PET ligands for affinity and PET studies, with applications for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease. I am also an Honors College member.

Plans following graduation: Research Chemist at National Flavors

I want to thank Dr. Barnard (at Lyman Briggs) because her general chemistry course is the reason why I decided to become a chemistry major, and I want to thank the Wilson lab for introducing me to the wonders of computational chemistry. I also want to thank the friends and professors I have interacted with throughout my years at Michigan State University.

Accomplishments: honors college graduate, a coauthor publication in PFAS research (Wilson lab), E-board member of Chemistry club

Plans following graduation:  Graduate Student in Biophysics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI

Although I am so excited to graduate, I am sad to be leaving MSU as I have enjoyed my time here very much.  However, I am also excited to become an MSU alumni!>

Plans following graduation:  I am not totally sure what I want to do anymore.  I plan to take a gap year and continue working as a medical technician while I explore other things to decide what I may want to do.  I do hope to find a career within the chemistry field as this is what interests me the most.
