Chemistry is helping those on the front lines of the battle with COVID-19

Chemistry is helping those on the front lines of the battle with COVID-19
Chemistry is helping those on the front lines of the battle with COVID-19 with a six-foot tall pallet of various materials.

Following the Governor’s order to Shelter in Place, chemistry stockroom supervisor Bill FIick put together a six-foot tall palletized load of ppe; including goggles, safety glasses and face shields. Also included were 56000 nitrile gloves ranging from extra-small to extra-large. Arrangements were made with MSU’s Environmental Health Services (EHS) to pick up and distribute Chemistry’s donation to area healthcare providers.  Chemistry also stands ready to apply our stock of IPA to the formulation of hand sanitizer.
