Article from Chemistry Prof. Xuefei Huang's Group Selected As Cover Article in Recent Issue of Organic Letters
An article from the lab of Chemistry Prof. Xuefei Huang recently made the cover of an issue of Organic Letters. In this paper, they examined the important phenomenon of neighboring group participation in glycosylation reactions.
To date, all remote stereodirecting participation had been reported to occur within the same glycosyl ring. They have discovered a new phenomenon of remote group participation across a glycosidic linkage, providing a missing piece of stereodirecting effects in glycosylation reactions.
