Workshop 1: Resume Preparation
The resume is considered the most critical communication document to get selected for an interview. Among other documents, resumes are used by hiring teams to screen and select applicants for interviews. In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare an effective resume that showcases your experiences and capabilities to potential employers succinctly and with impact!
Workshop 2: Interview Practice
Behavior-based interviews are the most effective way for a hiring manager to select the best candidates for a job. We will provide you with the skills and knowledge you can use to efficiently prepare for an interview. We will discuss how to inventory your experiences to build a good answer to any behavior-based question and other actions you can take to improve your performance on the day of the interview. The workshop will include a small group breakout session where you will have an opportunity to practice answering some of the most common behavior-based interview questions. We ask that participants in the resume breakout session please bring 5 physical copies of their resume.
