Annual refresher training

To access SIS GradPlan, go to www.student.msu.edu and click on the Academic Progress tile.

Starting in year 3 and beyond, all doctoral students must complete 3 hours of annual refresher training; this can include discussion-based training and online courses beyond the 7 required in years 1 and 2. 

This training can include specific readings identified in consultation with the mentor and online refresher modules. The graduate school offers a large number of resources: http://grad.msu.edu/researchintegrity/resources/

Also counted as training are face-to face meetings with the mentor and group meetings that discuss RCR issues.

Submitted one on one RCR training requests are displayed on the RCR page in "Pending" status and do not count toward the training requirement until verified by your graduate advisor or another administrator in your program.
