Topic: Synthesis, Reactivity, and Catalytic Relevance of High Valent Transition Metal Organometallic Complexes

Speaker: Professor Melanie Sanford - University of Michigan

Host: Professor Aaron Odom

Date: Thursday, September 26, 2019

Time: 4:10 PM

Location: 136 CEM

More Information:

This presentation will describe our group's recent advances in the design and synthesis of high valent Pd and Ni complexes. These M(III) and M(IV) complexes serve as models for catalytic intermediates in a wide variety of Pd and Ni-catalyzed transformations. Novel reactivity of these complexes as well as their applications in catalytic transformations will be discussed.
