Presentation Format

Oral Presentations

Those making oral presentations are welcome to use transparencies or our video projector (behaves as a VGA monitor). We are unable to provide a slide projector at this time. Your computer should be able to work with our video projector utilizing a stable, modern MAC OS or Windows OS. We will have spare laptops available that we know work with our projector if there is an issue. If possible, you should use powerpoint from Office X or Office 2001 for Mac or from the Office 2000 or later for Windows. If you are a Linux user or use other software you need to bring your own computer.

The oral sessions will be held in the Kellogg Center Auditorium. Before your session begins, please identify yourself to your session chair. This will allow your session chair to know that you are ready and to inquire about the proper pronounciation of your name. You will also plug your laptop into the KVM switch at this time, so that your presentation will be ready when the time for your presentation arrives.

Poster Presentations

Poster presentations should not occupy more than a 4 ft. by 4 ft. area.

We will provide poster boards and tape/pins to mount the posters on the poster boards.

The poster sessions will be in Room 101 and the Heritage Room in the Kellogg Center. There will be no assigned spaces for your poster. Simply find a spot you like and put your poster up.

We expect that posters may be set up a couple of hours before the beginning of your poster session. More exact details will be available at the conference.
