Welcome, prospective graduate students! The following provides information about the Department of Chemistry, the graduate programs in Chemistry, and the application procedures.
| If you would like to receive a hard copy of the Departmental Brochure,
fill out an electronic request for information. If you wish to apply, you may continue with the application process. |
|
|
Fill out an electronic (on-line) Applicant Datasheet for graduate studies in Chemistry
and we will begin an application file for you. The deadline to begin an application file for international
students is December 1st for the following Fall Semester.
Although we accept applications after that date, we cannot guarantee processing in a timely manner.
Domestic students do not have a deadline to begin an application file, but we recommend that they begin
their application as soon as possible.

|
|
Fill out an electronic (on-line) University Application. The MSU code for a Chemistry PhD is 3575. For a MS, 3573.
It is not necessary to pay the application fee.
The Chemistry Department processes its own graduate applications and then pays the graduate application fee
for those who are admitted into our program.
