Mathematica

Mathematica is a general computer software system and language intended for mathematical and other applications. It is capable of doing numerical, symbolic and graphical computations.

Mathematica version 3.0 is available on all of the computers in the facility. To run the text mode version of Mathematica, login to one of the machines and type "math". To run Mathematica in graphics mode (only works when you're sitting at one of the SGI computers), type "mathematica".
