Alumni and Friends
These pages are intended to provide information especially for our alumni and to
provide an opportunity for alumni and friends of the department to communicate with the
department and each other by means of a guest book. These pages also provide a means of
giving to support many activities and programs of the department.

Department Alumni and Friends Guest Book
We had hoped that alumni would use the department's Guest Book to communicate
with the department and with each other. To avoid the automatic appearance of
inappropriate messages, we set up the Guest Book to be "moderated". Still,
very little use was made of the Guest Book by our alumni, while we were being
heavily hammered by "spam" and off-topic posts, leading to our decision to
temporarily suspend the use of the Guest Book. All of the Guest Book software
and all of the Guest Book entries have been kept so we can reactivate the Guest
Book at any time there is renewed interest.
